Subject Description

The subject has been designed as an advanced approach to film studies. Its primary aim is to offer students an insight into the major theoretical cinematic concepts of: digitalization, spectatorship, and new genericity as a context for more specialized discussions  on film (and) culture.

The overriding aim of the subject, however, is to lead students through the process of writing their MA theses as well as prepare them to discuss these theses in the course of their final MA exam.
